Susan Tall Studio offers handcrafted expressions in silver. Silver having some of the best properties for forming, conductivity, antimicrobial and in demand as a store of wealth. Learning silversmithing 10 years ago as beginning a new phase as an empty nester. I have worked with several masters in several techniques. I use chasing and repousse technique, silver lost wax casting and forming links hand weaving of fine silver chains.

 

Inspired by the natural world, I appreciate all living things great and small. My passion lies in taking that awe and finding ways to recreate them in metal. The combination of heat, fluidity and tools to  transform metal captivates my imagination and soothes my soul.
